Well, turns out it wasn’t so innocent. When it wouldn’t start I noticed it was pretty low on oil (which is odd since it wasn’t leaking and doesn’t smoke, but I hadn’t checked it in a while), so I topped it off, started it back up and ran great. For 10 minutes. Now it’s seized up completely...

Got everything up and running for a few hours of use, and now another issue. Machine turned weak on me and shut down, and now it won’t turn over or start. There is a single hard click when I turn the key, and that’s it. Same thing when I try to cross over the starter. Any ideas? Thank you for...

Thanks all - turned out to be the terminals after all. Sure was a good practice run to learn how to replace the starter! And how I have the “starter access hole” all ready to go… :)

Well, took the starter to a battery shop and they tested it - said it tested good! Now I’m stumped. Battery tested good, and starting had just gotten weaker and weaker over a matter of weeks until it finally won’t even roll over. Any other ideas?

Boy that starter is a bugger to get off! Had to make a slight modification…

Help! I was running my tractor and shut it off for a few minutes, then it wouldn稚 start again. I壇 turn the key and nothing, until a few minutes later I turned the key, the oil cooler fan started, and it fired up. Then I ran it for another 20 minutes and it died on me. Now I have no power, no...

You can call the shop and ask them and they値l send it UPS rather than freight shipping. Cost me $31. I never knew this, figured it might help someone else out. Now to try this thing on digging ditches... Pete

Here are the parts of the fitting. The o-ring is slightly chewed up so I’ll definitely replace that. Is it only supposed to have 1 o-ring? And, just to make sure, the tapered part of the fitting is what goes into the hose, correct? I suspect it bottomed out because the tapered part was going to...
