2005 TC 29 DA Ignition Switch replacement

I just successfully installed the NAPA KS 6600 switch in my 2005 NH TC29DA. As suggested, I connected both red wires (B&D) to BAT, one white wire to ST, one orange wire to IGN. Everything works as it should, I don't know how but it does. The tractor starts every time so far. Thanks all for the...

2005 TC 29 DA Ignition Switch replacement

Hi all, My saga continues. I replaced the battery cables and thought that my starter problems were solved but not so. Still randomly clicking so I decided to upgrade the ignition switch to the NAPA KS6600. I was able to find one for $ 50 with my military discount and thought that it would be a...

    2005 NH TC29DA

So far, I have ordered 2 solenoid stud extenders, 1- 5/16 x 24 and 1- 5/16 x 18 and neither one seems to fit. Is this a metric stud? and if so, where would I find a stud extender? Any help will be appreciated

Grease - is there no better way? Can we talk about this?

I agree that greasing eqiptment is a major PIA. I have a Milwaukee battery powered gun that is just about impossible to purge air from. I also have used the grease fitting lock device with mixed results. I use cream colored synthetic grease that makes me think everything is cleaner even though...

    2005 NH TC29DA

Thanks for the replies, the tractor now starts with more gusto and no click. It obviously was not getting a full 12 volts to the starter. Has enyone ever used a starter solenoid stud extender. I ordered one because I am not happy with the wires crowded on now. it is 5/16 x 24 thread, I believe.

    2005 NH TC29DA

I checked everywhere online and at 3 local NH dealers for the positive battery cable. No local dealers had it in stock, all could order it for $ 206.00. I went to Tractor Supply and bought both positive and ground cables for $46.00. I had to add the 3 additional wires and just barely had enough...

    2005 NH TC29DA

I am in the process of changing out the battery cables. Easy enough to remove the ground cable and find a replacement, the hot cable is more complicated in that it has 2 extra wires built into it on the starter solenoid end. I know I will have difficulty finding the factory cables but does...

    2005 NH TC29DA

My 2005 NH TC29DA has an intermittant starting problem. Some days I turn key, let glow plug light go out and it starts great. Other days same procedure, just click, click. I keep trying and eventually it always starts, so far! I have read previous posts regarding this issue a long time ago...

Universal Quick Attach Bucket Dropped on Both Feet

The QR on my NH bucket became very stiff to operate over time. Upon closer examination I found grease fittings to lubricate the pins. That and a little spray lube, what a difference! I did have my pallet forks come close to falling off once so I can understand the danger!
