    Echo CS-500P any good

I have no real reference on how much louder as I did that right off... but that said I ran a whole tank through it yesterday and don't think it was any louder than the 40cc Poulan I'm used to... other than it chewed better :). I don't have a tach, was just tuning to smoke and gave it enough to...

    Echo CS-500P any good

Let this thing eat some wood today and had to adjust it, it's a hungry thing! It's definitely a good runner. Still have some tweaks to make and since I ended up about a turn out on the high needle I might change the pump diaphragm to a brown one... and check on the regulator lever level...

    Van brunt grain drill model

My brother uses a bean/corn planter for sunflowers, uses his grain drill for the smaller stuff.

Thinking of getting a Plasma cutter

I have all sorts of options cutting stuff and now have 3 plasma cutters, my first one doesn't work (did at first but I got it years ago when pilot arc was hard to find) and happened on a Harbor Freight one open box for cheap so I grabbed that which is my go to but I have a Thermal Dynamics older...

    Echo CS-500P any good

I did basically like your bottom picture but just with a simple clip with tin snips and pliers to fold the flap out, left the flap to keep the exhaust going forward, the louvers on the side I left alone. On the pump diaphragm it had the black but since it didn't run right I didn't trust it...

    Echo CS-500P any good

You sir were not kidding, that stock muffler was super restrictive! They cheapened the muffler up a bit from your pictures as mine doesn't have the "bolt retainer plate" and the outlet baffle is like the top picture of the new muffler with just the small slit on the front facing side and the...

    Echo CS-500P any good

Thanks for that! I'm going to go do that here shortly... I just spent a few minutes on it tonight, pulled the carb again to make sure it was all clean and good, popped off the needle restrictor plate and stuff so I could cycle them and checked the pump diaphragm which looked ok but was black...

    Echo CS-500P any good

Dug into it this morning and was able to get the kill switch working, it's convenient being handy... Checked the metering diaphragm and it would have been fine if I hadn't stabbed a screwdriver through it prying the cover off... It's a runner but I need to strip and clean the carb as the high...

    Echo CS-500P any good

Just a general question, I've had great luck with Echo engines and I know they can generally keep up with the bigger guys for the most part... Anywho, saw a CS-500P on marketplace for $40 and couldn't pass it up, it has a broken kill switch (they bumped it and now no spark and the switch is...

Wire feed issue with Lincoln 175 mig

If you can watch the drive wheels while it's happening and see what is slowing down that would be helpful... If you've never changed the liner I would lean to that, chances are there's some buildup in there that might be binding that is assuming the wheels on the drive are spinning when the wire...

Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck

I got the Dawnroad version that's going for $60 now, I've only used my lowish torque 1/2" Bauer impact on it but it's held up fine so far (if you try really hard you can apparently shear the roll pin). Just watch the reviews as per normal on the bamazons... :)

Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck

Apparently I bought it just over a year ago when I had a leak in my rear tractor tire, the bead was rusted like heck to the wheel and nothing was working... That said I used it last weekend on some tires for my Explorer with 15" wheels, my bead breaker slide hammer was just sliding off, it...

    Looking at entry level welder

I would definitely look on the used market but yeah I'd lean toward a dual voltage unit at least, you're going to want 1/8" wall tubing or pipe at least, don't think strut is going to hold up... that's the top of the 125A cheap units, the Titanium unlimited 140 would probably cut it but you'd...

    Looking at entry level welder

Although I have an assortment of the Titanium line from HFT, the Yeswelder options are a better deal and have quite the following online... Not sure I'd bother with a multi process, I have a couple but it took me years to get to anything else... if you want to do stick get a cheap used Lincoln...

Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck

I have an amazon special version of THIS and it's way easier than the one you posted, I've used it and it works most of the time but the jack thing works every time to break a bead... the HFT tire spoons are fine though, they have some with round corners and ones with sharp corners depending on...
