FEL Lift Capacity For Unloading Semi Trailer

You are 100% correct. A good friend helped me off load all 26 pallets yesterday with his fork lift. We loaded several on my gooseneck to haul to the farm. My 45hp tractor picked them up effortlessly. I would say those pallets were closer to 900-1000lbs. I wish the manufacturer would have been...

FEL Lift Capacity For Unloading Semi Trailer

I did a quick test tonight and was only able to lift 1400lbs of feed 3' off the ground. I'm going to do a pressure test to see if I'm within specs on my hydraulics, but either way a ton at 4' isn't happening. At least not with pallet forks.

FEL Lift Capacity For Unloading Semi Trailer

I have a 2010 Case Farmall 45 tractor with an L350 loader. The loader's listed lift capacity on tractordata.com is 2,000 (full at pin). I have 26 pallets of wood shavings being delivered next week and am intending on using my tractor to unload them. The manufacturer has stated that a loader...

    Should I "Upgrade"?

I only pull logs a few weekends out of the year while gathering firewood. So, forestry tires wouldn't be worth switching to from my current R4 tires. The tractor is 4wd and all 4 tires spin with the diff lock engaged. Ideally, I like to pull more weight than I do, but then I lose a lot of...

    Should I "Upgrade"?

Should I type my answers in caps as well? Tires are not filled, but should be. I don't need a counter balance on the 3 point hitch when I stated my issue is pulling logs with a 3 point hitch boom. Yes, weight is added to the FEL when there is a significant weight on the rear. The tires are...

    Should I "Upgrade"?

This was in reference to Branson. Tapatalk didn't grab the quote for some reason.

    Should I "Upgrade"?

They also don't have a 60hp tractor and their closest models don't have HST. IfI go to a power shuttle it will be on a utility tractor and not a compact utility.

    Should I "Upgrade"?

I use a 3 point boom and log tongs. The issue is mainly up inclines and the fact I have to drag them 1/2 to 3/4 mile to get them back to the house. The pallet forks would be sufficient except I need to also have the ability to grab piles of random debris.

    Should I "Upgrade"?

That is my concern, but I sure don't want to deal with DPF and all other brands have a DPF.

    Should I "Upgrade"?

I currently have a 2010 Case IH Farmall 45 HST. It only has about 450 hours on it and does almost everything I need to do. The only thing I don't like is it is fairly lightweight and has trouble hauling decent sized logs out of the woods with me cutting them in 8ft or so size sections. I'd like...

3 Point Hiccuping on Farmall 45

I was out doing some general maintenence on my 2010 Farmall 45 HST tonight and noticed that my 3 point hydraulics are hiccuping. When lifted to do height or even just barely off the ground with the bush hog in the cutting position it will lower just a hair then catch itself with the tractor...

Upgrade Existing Tractor or Trade for New?

I currently have a 2010 Case IH Farmall 45 HST with ROPS that I'm fairly happy with. I'd like more tractor (who wouldn't), but it gets the job done. My only problem with it is that it has no quick attach for the FEL or a 3rd function remote . My dilemma is this, should I add a quick attach...

Hydraulic Fluid Change On Farmall 45 with HST

My 2010 Farmall 45 manual states it takes 9.6 gallons of Hytrans Ultra. I followed the manual for my first hydraulic fluid change this weekend. I pulled both drain plugs, let it drain, replaced the HST filter, and replaced the hydraulic filter. Upon refill it was full at 7 gallons. I did...

Adding A Grapple And 3rd Function To Farmall 45

I have a 2010 Farmall 45 that I'd like to add a third function and grapple to for picking up logs and brush piles. I do not have a quick attach bucket. So, I'll need to figure out what aftermarket quick attach to buy and convert my existing bucket. I also have the front end loader joystick...

    Woods BSS72

Got a new toy yesterday! A Woods BSS72 box blade. This thing is built heavy duty and should last my lifetime for sure. I smoothed a section of logging road out last night and the 45hp tractor pulled it with ease with a half full box.
