Some of the issue depends on what kind of snow you are dealing with. Is it dry or is it water logged and sloppy? If dry, a leaf blower works great. You can also pre treat the blower by using some silicone spray or non stick type spray throughout the interior so that the snow won't stick as...
I purchased a North 40 grapple for my 4025 Mahindra. Works great. I already had a forward hydraulic circuit installed for my dozer blade so installation was a snap.
I have the same issue with about four acres. I would hesitate to use chemicals unless you are positive the land won't be used to grow anything or house livestock. I like the goat idea. Will have to check to see if anyone around here has goats.
Great idea. What keeps the trailer jack extended when not being used? Would it bleed down over time? I would also be concerned when towing the trailer if the jack would bleed down and strike the roadway.
Picked up this orchard tractor a week ago in order to have a dedicated mower setup. I don't know about the rest of you, but after struggling with removing and installing your typical three point attachment, I am usually too tired to finish the job I installed the attachment to do to begin with...
Mahindra 4025 (4WD)
Problem #1 - I have a Mahindra 4025 (4WD) with the loader. When going backwards and using the float feature on the front bucket control valve, I have to manually hold the bucket control lever in the float position. If I don't, it will flop back down to the UP position if any...
Our 4025 4WD tractor has what is apparently an older design clutch and brake pedal setup. The tops of the pedals are relatively smooth and several times my foot has slipped off the clutch pedal at an inopportune moment. I called the dealer and they tell me the newer models have a redesigned...
Thank you for the detailed reply AND the links. Only question I have is how to install the cross over relief valve. Would I need to have a second line that bypasses the ball valve and allows pressure to travel from one side of the cylinder to the other in the event of an over-pressure...
I recently purchased a quick attach mounted snow blade for the front of my tractor with hydraulic angle capability.
I will eventually run a hydraulic circuit to the front of the loader so that I can plug in the quick disconnects to allow for angle adjustment from the seat - but in the meantime...
I will just come out with it and state right here that I suck at math... This question is directed toward those with slide rules in their pockets and geometric thought patterns.
I have a Mahindra 4025 4X4 that I want to install a quick attach snow blade with manual angle adjustment.
How...
You are right. The tractor came with a support strut to support the loader when removed from the tractor.
I simply used a longer pipe of the same diameter.
I use a board under it for now to prevent it from sinking into the ground. I will eventually weld a section of flat plate to the bottom.
