I thought the moving problem was only when the TC gets warm but in fact, even when cold it will not move on a small hill or bump. It feels like it is not having enough hydraulic power and when trying to go up the small hill, there is a slipping or grinding noise coming from the front below the...
Gee, I thought it fixed itself for a while. I was able to drive for about 2 miles with 250-300 psi on brake line gauge and on T connector gauge of front motor hoses. It ran for about 15-20 minutes then at low idle pressure dropped below 70 and was hardly moving with high rpm. I did not have the...
I will try this in the week-end. The charge pressure drops while sitting still in low idle. I never checked the temperature of the motor case nor the pump but engine temp is low.
That is a great idea ! The pilot manifold is in front of the rear right wheel and there is a procedure to remove it in the TC service manual. But it feeds the 'servo enable SD' which I think is used to move the swash plate (I am not sure about that). But iT sure beats trying to cap all the break...
This is what I recorded, the gauge on the left is attached to one of the front brake hose and the one on the right is on the looped motor hose. Lifting the cab to get to the pump is not an option at this time...
In January I had a front motor hose brake , left the machine there for 1 month in the snow, then patched up the hose with a screw-in connector. In May, we retighten the connector as it had lost all the oil. I then added Mobil oil and restarted the machine. Moving sand for about one hour, it...
Well, what appeared to be a front drive motor problem is not! I needed to move the machine and capped the 2 break lines (I have traction control), the motor case drain and 2 speed hoses and connected the 2 big motor hoses together with a T union with a pressure gauge. Also I have a pressure...
