What is better than a kubota GR2120?

Im not a cub cadet fan, but that is what is needed on slopes, if that steering wheel truly operates the front tires, I like the built in headlights and the seat that holds you in place. I just may change my mind about the cub cadet.

Zero Turn mower for moderate slopes?

The seat is the most important thing in a mower, you need to be secure to safely operate it. As far as my experience a zero turn has no business on a slope a tractor type mower is much more stable as far as sliding down into the ditch. If the wife doesn't like it then don't question it. Get her...

One Tractor To Do It All?

I bought a Kubota B2620 with a belly mower, it cut great but the weight of the tractor left tire tracks, not good, had to go back to two machines. Can't beat a zero turn for speed, but at 79 years Im not speedy anymore. In Florida my zero turn kept sliding down into the ditch, our soil here is...

The guy that put the engine internals together says "The rings are not seated yet end the smoking is normal. Just give it a couple hours of work"

So you are saying that all cars and trucks made in the world will smoke until you work them a couple hours. Ha!Ha! If I bought a new car and it smoked they would get it right back. Sir you have a problem, dont buy anything from a backyard mechanic and please dont pour anything down the intake...

Is a subcompact under 25hp enough power?

I wouldn't attempt any of that with a subcompact, I have a compact (26 hp) and I wish it was larger because the pto is not rated at 26 and you can't find a generator that will work on that low hp. You can dig holes and I moved and leveled 800 yards of fill dirt, but still wished I had at least...

    Broken welds

I don't trust anything welded with wire feed or any of these low voltage welders, a good stick weld will not break, the metal around it with rip tear or break before the weld, in welding class your weld had to go through every possible test and it had not better break. I don't see the good...

The guy that put the engine internals together says "The rings are not seated yet end the smoking is normal. Just give it a couple hours of work"

He installed the oil scraper ring upside down or failed to install the valve seals. Check the crankcase breather to see if its plugged, the head could have been warped and the oil is leaking from the oil passage to one of the cylinders. The head bolt holes may not have been cleaned out properly...

    Kubota Backhoe

Well we can talk about this forever and place the blame on the manufacturer but the operator should check the tractor over before operating. Anyone who doesn't know which way the pin goes has no business near the tractor. Those extra slots are for picking up the backhoe with a sling, very...
