I,too, used lithium batteries from Big Battery to replace the worn-out lead acid batteries in my Polaris Ranger EV. Well worth it for many reasons. I did find that the included SOC (state of charge) meter was worthless, with lithium batteries one needs a "coulomb counter" type meter for useful...
As for the pronunciation of "Uranus", in the current vernacular the word "your" is open replaced with "ur". Therefore the supposed mispronunciation of "Uranus" is currently correct.
OK, it's time to replace the lead -acid batteries. Due to a lot of use and age, they discharge quickly and I'm afraid to take it out farther than I am comfortable walking back.
A new set of decent lead-acid batteries costs almost the as much as a good lithium that should have as much or more...

I like PDF copies of manuals to store on my phone. It's with me much of the time, so those manuals are handy and easier for me to find when needed. Plus they don't get torn or dirty.
Did you read her posts? She's educated and does a lot of research. Makes sense in a technical way to me anyway. I've been following her works for s while.
p.s. - she lives in Berkeley, I doubt she's a raving neocon.
To add to the great explanation above - pulling a lead-acid battery too low in voltage "wounds" it. It loses significant storage capacity whenever this happens, worse with lower voltage discharges.
Good info on Low Voltage Cut-off information
A very smart woman does a lot of research and reporting on many things relating to energy, including the future of diesel fuel. She is not coming from a political viewpoint, using a just the facts approach. It would be difficult to call her a conspiracy theorist.
There are many articles on her...
Response to two posts - the solar cells on the Ambient Weather station serve to power the station when enough sunlight is available, and also charge a super-capacitor inside for other times. The batteries serve as backup for when there's not enough light, and the super-capacitor is discharged...
Project Farm (YouTube) did a video comparing trimmer strings. Round string did much better against hard surfaces than string with edges.
I haven't tried round string yet, as I have a lot of edged string to use up. I might just buy a small roll to see if it is better with chain link.
