I bought a 1977 210 for $80. I mainly bought it to put on my 31 tiller so I can leave it on. The guy that had it thew in a nice solid E0046 deck which I believe is from a early round fender 110/112. He didn't have any attaching parts with it. IS it possible to put this on the 210 if I needed...
I acquired a new to me 1977 210. It would run but wouldn't start anymore. I bought it to put on my 31 tiller and leave it so I could keep the mower on my 110. Anyways, I put a new starter on it and now as I crank it, it seems to make a knocking noise until it fires up. Sort of like the teeth...
Is there an aftermarket or automotive replacement for the tie rod end for the end of the steering cylinder? I think Deere wants around $235 for it. I didn't know if anyone cross referenced it to an automotive one.
I was mowing along today. All of a sudden I smell hydraulic oil. I shut the tractor off and look underneath. Hydro oil was pouring out a hole from the bottom front left side of the trans. I looked the part up on jdparts. Must be some sort of drive in plug. There's no threads in the hole...
Years ago I used to now with a 210. I have recently inherited a '74 110. It seems to me that the 210 had a much tighter turning radius than this 110. I was wondering if I could do a swap, or is it just my imagination that the 210 turns shorter?
I tried searching for the post about the springs that someone used to replace the rubber bumpers on a 2520 seat. I was going to try the mod but can't find the thread. I think the springs were off an x series mower but I don't remember which one.
Had the 72" mmm for just over a year, and it threw the belt for the 2nd time. Both times when I went to re install the belt there would be a pine cone laying on the deck. Not sure what else would have done it, I was in short grass both times. Never did throw one on my old 60" I had before...
It finally came! Only downfall is that they brought it at about 1:30 and it's 104 degrees in the shade. I made one round mowing with it. Gonna have to wait till morning. It's gonna take some getting used to. Seems like a much bigger tractor than the 855, but the 72 mmm compared to the 60 is...
Anyone sell a reasonably priced sunshade that hooks on the rops for a 2520? I'm looking around for something to keep the sun off while I'm mowing. It doesn't even have to be rainproof. My new tractor should be in hopefully this week. I'm leaning to stay away from the fiberglass one's, they...
