Anyone have a MechMaxx 3-pt stump grinder?

I set mine real close to 20HP and it didn't slip at all with a 45HP pto tractor. I'd suggest loosening it until it just slips and then tighten it back up a half turn or so.

Anyone have a MechMaxx 3-pt stump grinder?

I used two kinda flattish cold chisels and it popped right on after I drove them in a bit.

Looking at a new TYM T574 Cab model

Different tractor, same engine. The 574 has a somewhat more plush and larger cab. The 5520 is a touch shorter in length, and has a bit beefier axle design.

Push over trees with a small compact?

I mostly use lines as an "and also" safety if I'm near buildings or other stuff I REALLY don't want to hit and the tree is already a leaner. 99% is done with wedges even in that case. There's a lot of advantages to slow and easy when you're falling, moreso when you're not 100% sure.. Things...

I hope I can prevent this from happening to other operators.

Yikes! Glad you made it through that one at all! Grim as it was it sure could've been a lot worse. Some years ago we had had a slushy snow right before we got home from a long drive. The hot tires on the suv melted the snow .. then it refroze under them forming a slick ice sheet. The car...

    TYM parts

Good deal! It's worth shopping around and I think your approach on doing the anon phone call was pretty smart. Hope you enjoy your new tractor as much as I have mine :)

    TYM parts

+1 to SR1 being known for being pretty good. I was able to order my 50hr filters from Georgia Land Equipment LLC. with zero hassle. Steve Street at Mathis Trailers & Equipment Sales - New & Used Agriculture Sales, Service, and Parts with locations in Rome, GA and Leesburg, AL, near Lindale and...

Is it too soon to talk about Crypto yet?

I don't need one because I'm invested in a broad market that has outperformed inflation consistently over the long term for the past 100+ years and is based on actual companies making actual products that people can actually use. I started with a large negative and am now what I would...

Is it too soon to talk about Crypto yet?

Seems pretty obvious that the goal is to cash out the crypto holders (and producers..) who've been busy openly bribing the very people suggesting this thing and leave the taxpayers in the lurch. Anyone who thinks differently is either fooling themselves or just claims otherwise because they're...

Is it too soon to talk about Crypto yet?

Maybe some "ratings agencies" that are of the same caliber as the "tether auditors" lol. It's junk. While BTC might be a greater fools game and not strictly a ponzi, MSTR is definitionally a ponzi. He just diluted the shareholders .. again.. and would have to keep doing that repeatedly...

Is it too soon to talk about Crypto yet?

Yeah Coffee is great, he does a lot of good work in this space. I kind of think of safemoon as relatively small potatoes in this space. As big of a bunch of crooks as they are they're nothing compared to Tether or Microstrategy or.. They were "only" in for about $17B in (artificial inflated...

    HF Icon vs. Pittsburgh line

A pair of those also made it into our kitchen for pulling stuff out of the oven hah. Works really well.

Is it too soon to talk about Crypto yet?

Which is odd because BTC has been confiscated, restricted, and a lot of people have lost all of their coins to various forms of digital "decay"... And yet it can still be endlessly replicated and forked... Which of the various BTC forks are the TRUE bitcoin? Different people have different...

    Home-made rope making machine

So.. when I was a kid I spent untold hours turning the d* rope machine for making horse hair ropes. We mostly used an 189? new-era cast iron rope machine which worked fairly well (except it was mounted to low on the block and you'd bark your knuckles all the time turning it). The new era...
