    YT359 Third Function Options

I have a YM347 and had dealer install the Yanmar kit at purchase so it would be covered under warranty. All metal lines up front.

    TODAYS SEAT TIME

We’ve had decent rains in spring and summer. Roads on ranch are high with grass/dove weed. As we move towards late summer/fall we maintain the roads where we can feed deer year around without fear of fire. I spend 6 hours on YM347 with shredder. Had my EarPods in and life was good, even...

Help me decide, 3 trucks I need to pick 1 from.

I bought a 2024 2500HD w/ 6.6 GAS, Allison 10 speed. It replaced my older 2015 2500HD 6.6 DIESEL w/ Allison 6 speed. My diesel NEVER went back to dealer/service and I did all the maintenance on it. Best truck I’ve ever owned. But service and fuel prices as well as service on DIESEL priced it...

    T-Post Driver for the FEL

X2 on the Danuser T3. Opening will accept up to 3 1/4” - 3 1/2”. We drive 2 3/8 galv round and wing channels. Running it on Mini-Ex. I believe they offer a T post attachment for it.

    Texas Fall/Winter thread!

Back in fall, did lots of shredding. We’ve had a drought and lost lots of trees, so been cutting those up and using grapple to load into trailer for haul off. In the hardest of winter, the tractor has been ‘warm’ in garage and I’ve been getting fatter! HAHAHA. Pretty weather coming soon and...

    DK45S vs New Holland TC33D

That TC is a nice rig. I’d stray from a hydro trans used, just me. I’ve also heard in hot weather when shredding (bush hog to ya’ll), they can heat up. HP, HP, HP. Which one has the closest local dealer? Best wishes.

    BAD ENGINE OIL

I use QS 30wt in my 51 Willlys jeep. Always have. Oil pressure remains good and only change it once a year as it isn’t driven as much anymore. That shocked me. 30 wt is getting harder and harder to find.

    Planning to buy soon

Same size place; I bought a Yanmar YM347A. I went to local dealer who sells Kioti and Yanmar. Deal was much better and tractor was overall larger than comparable K. I love this tractor. Higher ground clearance, larger frame, larger wheels, Cat I and Cat II hookup, greater lifting...

    Weld Table Rust?

My table sits outside. I take a grinder to it when I need to weld. I occasionally spray with WD or wipe with motor oil. Seems to be ok.

Do all HD pickups ride rough?

Tires and tire pressure makes a difference for sure. I run my 24 2500HD with 60 in front and 65 in rear and get a smoother ride locally. Trips/hauling I’ll put them where GM says, and yes, They’re stiff.

    Your last generator Maintenance Run

TODAY! We’re expecting up to 4” snow in Texas, so I thought I’d go fire up the genset and run it.

Cool Or Creepy Things Found In The Bush Or On Your Property

Some time back my dad, now deceased 2 years, and I were out spring turkey hunting on our ranch. While looking for a downed bird dad stumbled across a rock. It had an arrow scribed in the top of it. Realizing it was an old marker, I GPS’d it and we protected it IN PLACE where cows couldn’t...
