I know, I was giving some feedback on a basic Golf cat top as an option for a canopy to save $$$ from a flimsy cheap plastic canopy. If I wasn't going to do the lights and stereo, I'd do a golf cart top again with the bed liner. Looks great and it's a great cheap option

This canopy is def not flimsy. Even if you just took a golf top cover and through it up there, it will last forever. Very thick UV plastic. You could easily make it cheap and quick. Aluminum supports and brackets. Add a few lights and done under $150. -200 depending on metal and misc wiring.

Yeah I was going to go to Joann's fabric and get some thinking spandex to soak down but had that outdoor carpet left over. It actually was better because it soaked up a lot of fiberglass resin. It's hard as a rock. Didn't even need to add the fiberglass sheets tbh
