Here's my set-up.

You can see from this frame I took, the pulley on the pump is coming away from the other pulley. Look at the difference in spaces. Check for loose or broken bolts and nuts.

Did this tractor ever run right, or did you purchase it this way. Here's my 2 cents,, dual coil solenoids come in a couple of varieties, some are internally controlled circuits to prevent both coils from staying on at the same time for too long, and overheat etc. And some are "externally"...

The "spring" thingy was already there when I bought the machine, but I did modify it with the triangle plate and added a chain, The spring shock was welded to the frame also and I ground it off and made the stopper plate, I didn't like the angle of the frame before. Heres a pic of what it looked...

Here's mine with a chain supported plow, if you look in the circle, when I angle the plow "down", the cross pin connects with the plate and the spring puts tension on the plow for down pressure.
