    Help to identify this tractor

I'm hoping for a positve ID on this tractor. It was my grandfather's, although it is my dad driving it in the pict. In the trailer are my cousins and I. The photo is dated 1976. Sorry i don't have any additional photos. Even though i am in this picture...i have zero recollection of it. (I was...

Is everything working too much to ask.

Fired up the NAA for the first time in months. Put the battery on the charger last night once reinstalled, she ran with just a few cranks. Loader cycles with no hesitation...3 point though not a hint of wanting to raise....gripe over, back to work fool.

    Pre remodel plumbing question

I'm about to start a remodel on our master bathroom. It is on the ground floor with a second story above. The current drain plumbing is vented with 4 inch galvanized pipe that runs out of the crawl space up through the bathroom area to the roof. Unfortunately it is within the envelope of the...

Proper display of the U.S. flag... questions.

Several people around town have been flying the flag off the back of there truck. It is often accompanied by one or several additional flags, which might be a different conversation. Generally it is in tatters, frayed at the edges, and catches on the tailgate when stopped. It doesn't seem very...

    Leaking fuel tank repair

My NAA has developed a fairly significant fuel leak. I have the tank out and it looks as if the leak derives from under the bracket near the front of the tank....which is welded to the tank. I'm not sure of the correct approach on this. Removing the bracket will be a challenge i think and...

    Watch those pinch points

    Watch those pinch points

I was disassembling a drywall lift to fix a broken cable attacment. In its normal operating position gravity keeps a pair of folding arms open. It was upside down for repair and got me. There was some new creative foul language emanating from my garage that day.

    Goodman furnace reviews

My 13 year old Lennox took a dump several weeks ago. Between a known fried control board and indications that the heat exchanger has failed i'm looking at at least $1200 to fix the old one. I got a quote for about 4k after rebates to replace it with a Lennox. I started looking online and found...

    DT466 stopped running

Thanks for the advice on pricing and auction. I had the truck consigned at a local equipment place for 3 months this summer...not a single bite, and no interest in my (now expired) craigslist ad....so maybe pricing is my problem. I was hoping to get at least 17k for it, but with the consignment...

    DT466 stopped running

So i have a 1989 int'l with a Dt466 motor. It always fired right up no problems. Several weeks ago it fired right up. I went inside to get wallet etc came out and it had died. Now she only cranks over fast with no indication of starting. No smoke out the exhaust. I have confirmed that the fuel...

    Mower disassembly

Here is how it is turning out. The device was indeed a taper lock. I drove out a pin and removed a collar on top of it. Split the taper lock with a screwdriver and it all came apart..pretty sure the bearing is shot...[emoji2] .
