Within 5 years of ownership, my Mahindra has never had this problem. The RPM’s do need to be @ 1500-2000 depending on activity, and is designed to operate safely in that zone. Less down-time dealing with complicated emissions controls.
Not all manufacturers use DPF. Mahindra, as an example, uses MCRD technology, but does use an EGR instead. This goes all the way up to 75 hp on all their tractors. Their tech is less problematic when repair/replacements is necessary.
I own a 2019 Mahindra Max-24…., similar to your reference. Your referenced model was designed to be lighter (ladder frame vs tractor frame) along with other components. The belly mower on mine weighs 400lbs, while the 1100 is 200lbs, so greater caution needs to be used to avoid damage.

With the exception of my compact tractor, all my yard equipment is Echo. Other than collectors, I think many will choose their favorite manufacturer if they're happy with their first purchase. I do believe the STIHL owners are the most dedicated.
And yet, it has a 5 year warranty and is plenty capable for my large Burr Oakes. Not the fastest, not the lightest, but a fine saw for me. Expensive I’ll grant you, but I'm happy with it. BTW, the oiler has no issues with a 32” Bar.
The ‘Cry Once’ analogy along with dependability are the most important for me. I own an Echo 7310 with a 28” blade and an Echo 4910 with an 18” blade. Both can easily swing larger blades. The 5-year warranty is the best in the industry and they are easy to start, maintain, and run.
Like you, my garage is heated and tractor gets loaded with snow. I always use my Echo PB9010H which easily removes 99% of it, and using soft brush along with blower does it all.
I’ve had my Mahindra Max-24 for 5 years since new, and only put on 60 hours a year. Used mostly for Wisconsin snow removal and various projects around our home/property. Not much, but a life saver when needed.
I am also curious about using ACF-50 for general use. Although they state that it isn’t harmful on rubber surfaces, I’m a bit concerned about overspray on rubber hydraulic lines and/or seepage/infiltration into gaskets/o-rings.
Anyone have experience with this product in regards to my...
I also had that plate come loose and the bolts were lost. While I didn’t have your problem, my plate wasn’t as offset as yours. This plate anchors the low/high group gear position on my Mahindra Max24. If it were more out of alignment, that handle wouldn’t move either. The attached photo was a...
Many of us are transplants. I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, serving 10 years in the military and 25 in law enforcement, retiring in 2005.
As all grandkids were adults, we chose a move to Eau Claire Wisconsin in 2015 for our new grandkids. We love the area, people, and lower...
We ‘elders’ have lived through lead based paint, no seatbelts, coal burners, no emissions standards, and yes, many of us are sick, dying or have passed away. You are fortunate to have greater protections and awareness then we had.
Many changes have been beneficial regardless of the political or...
