Well, it took about 22 hours of work and I might have put things on and taken them off more than three times, but she is all back together and working. Pushed some snow on Saturday even! Thanks to all of you for all the help! I couldn't have done it with you all.

I went out and put my hands on stuff and I am starting to get it. I looked through my parts and I believe I am missing one part and working on getting the shaft, I don't think I ever have it and it could be why this whole issues happened in the first place.
In the picture below I am missing...
I think I have figured it out.
I can move the flywheel with a screw driver and old it in place. I can turn the pully at the front of the engine to move the pistons and using a gauge or contraption in this video I can determine if I am coming up on the compression stroke to find TDC (Top Dead...
I do have the timing cover off.
This picture was from last week. I have cleaned things up a bit. I do know where the timing window is on the flywheel, so I am assuming I set that to 12 degrees? Just not sure how I do the compression part... or how I would set the compression and 12 degree on...

I have had zero luck so far in finding the part. I spent an entire day reaching out to various shops, but I just reached out to shops you have mentioned, so thank you! Hopefully one of them have come through.

Thanks so much for all the help since my last update. Certainly used the scans and info to get the distributor shaft out. QUITE THE ADVENTURE for me personally. The shaft is now out. I don't see any other damage in the timing gears. Now I just need to find a replacement for the distributor...
I had some time today and I almost have the front cover off the engine. I got a bit gun shy and since I have to take my son to a meeting to get his Eagle Scout project approved I decided to call it a day.
Looking for a bit of advice if I need to remove the pully off the front and if so, how...
