    JD 430 not starting

Think I figured it out. I was getting ready to pull the fender pan off so I could dig into the pedestal and get at all of the wiring within. Decided to connect the battery one last time first, and realized that depending on how the positive battery terminal was positioned on the post, I could...

    JD 430 not starting

So I tested the battery last night. Fully charged. Didn’t even flinch when I load tested it. I do have a service manual with wiring diagrams although the one BravoXray shared seems to be different.

    430 Couple of questions

Been using a 1991 430 for the past couple of summers for mowing. As of late, I'm going through a ridiculous amount of hydraulic fluid - about a quart over a couple of hours. I just pulled the fender pan off and moved the fuel tank aside so I can start to clean things up and locate the leak. I...

    JD 425 AWS stalling

New here... I have a 1994 425 AWS that was on open-ended loan to me for the past several years by my father in law. He passed away a couple years ago and I have inherited this and several other pieces of equipment. He was always surprised it hadn't died yet. It finally may have. It has always...
