This was certainly worth the research effort… Besides the hydraulics, I wanted something that would compensate for the Pat’s quick hitch extension, and add a quick-attach to the top. Also, found I can use the inexpensive, locally available, top-link balls by doing a little grinding…
I was surprised to see this particular hose is attached with hose clamps. I would have thought pressure too high for that.
Looks to be 7/16 ID, non-braided.
Any idea of a source for this type hose (TS, NAPA, etc)?
This weekend was spent adding a WR Long 3rd Function Hydraulic Valve (VK12) and Everything Attachments' 55" root grapple (wicked-55) to my 2006 Massey Ferguson MF1540, with the MF1525 Loader.
While I intended to install the valve myself, the $115 install price from White's Tractor Company, and...
That's the picture in my manual. However, plug #1 does not exist on my tractor…

What I have is an odd shaped filler plug that I'm wondering if...
I thought I was asking EA when I quoted Travis' post…
I guess I could have been more specific, as I've already decided on their Wicked Root Rake Grapple. Only question is, what size.
That said, I certainly don't mind other's input.
Turns out I can have the kit installed by a local dealer for about what I'd pay for parts. Hopefully, I'll get that done in the next week.
Leaves the choice of grapple. Whats recommended for mostly clearing brush/branches with my '06 MF1540 (type/size etc)...
I'm picking up these parts this weekend in anticipation of ordering my 3rd function kit. Any reason why I couldn't install the parts now, or should I wait until I have the kit?
