Used tractor in the morning took a break for 3 hrs when I went to start the tractor nothing ligh comes in but won't start. New starter/selinoid, pto clutch. Thinking it might be the break switch. Any ideas it is a nd x500
Ok I installed a new PTO on my X500 ran good for a while ofter I shut it off it would not come back on the light on the switch came on but no engagement replaced the switch still nothing any ideas anyone?
Is there any good mechanics out there that can work on a JD X500?
The problem that I am having is that My tractor runs for about a hour that it cuts out I tried to chock it and that works for awhile than I have to let it set for a day or two and start the cycle all over. I had it to the dealer...
I just charged up my battery for my x500 and after a couple of hours or so the tractor stops and the battery is dead again but after I charg the battery it starts again any Ideas? Could it be the voltage regulator?:confused:
The battery in my JD x500is not charging. I just charged the batter a week ago and it is dead again and also would a dead battery be the reason why the PTO does not engage?
I have a JD X500 Lately when the steering seams to be sticking. What I mean by that is when I am going straight it gets stiff and doesn't want to turn then all of a sudden it will let me turn turn any Ideas on what it is?:confused:

I have a X500 and it will do everything I ask it to do Just wish I would have gotten the x540 for the hydraulics. Is there a way that I can put hydraulics on the 500 without to many problems? :newhere::construction:
