We figured it out! WOOHOO! Before we put it all together we tried to adjust one more time. First, we put a mark on the nut and rod (bottom arrow). Then we loosened that nut and turned the rod 1 full turn then tested it. It kinda help, so we turned it one more turn and that made it better...
