    rusting tools in tool boxes

Rusting is from moisture/condensation. I had the same problem. Insulation applied to the roof and walls cured it for the most part.

    Towable boom lift

I own a Nifty Lift TM34T. Honda power and telescoping boom. Very nice unit and fairly stable at max. height and/or reach. Does not have auto level but lets you know if not setup properly. Use it to trim trees, paint, change yard light bulbs and other misc stuff. Tow it around my property with my...

    Need hearing aid advice.

Hearing loss is a difficult issue and takes a good professional to help you if you have anything other than slight hearing loss. I tried several hearings aids - cheap to expensive and although they all helped some it wasn't until I found a good audiologist that really knew what she was doing did...

    Tired of oil change bull

I'm a retired executive with a heavy construction company. I was in charge of the equipment. We were on a national account with a lubrication manufacturer; therefore we got free oil analysis on everything we owned, from 1/2-ton pickups to D-10 dozers. When you need your equipment to earn a...

Fed Ex - A Lazy Bunch

My property is in a semi-rural area. My house is about 400 feet from the road. I have a gate at the road and my driveway is paved with a large turnaround in front of my garage. I get an email notification from Fed Ex when deliveries are coming, and I open the gate well in advance. However, A...

    Plowing

A 140 would likely not do well with 2 bottoms, in fact probably not pull it at all You would need to go up to at lea a 230 if not a 300 to pull 2 bottoms at a reasonable pace

Are people lazy, don’t know how to help or scared of liability.

I suggest that how you were brought up corresponds to how you respond to situations. I was raised on a dairy farm in a rural area. High school I went to had 35 kids in my class. So, people had to learn to do for themselves and help one another. Things you learn when young follow you thru life.
