My dealer in OK just got a bunch of new units in. Mostly under 40hp. Be patient. I would not buy a tractor or a truck right now unless I absolutely had to.
I have a 3 year old 2538 with 1150 hours. Except for some easily fixed hydraulic hose leaks it has been bullet proof. No turbo, all displacement. One negative, it's the first tractor I have owned that I ware ear plugs when brush hogging. It's pretty loud.
I have a 2538 with 1150 hours. I have had some hydraulic leaks all from the same hose that were easily fixed and covered under warranty. The engine is not turbo and relys on displacement. It has more power than any tractor I have owned in the same HP range, JD, IH. My dealer is fantastic...
I have torn up two of the plastic cooling fans in a year. There is not protective guard over the fan, so, it is vulnerable to sticks and what not. Has anyone else had this problem? I am going to ask my dealer if New Holland has addressed this issue.
