Many thanks to Long Lane for a replacement charge pump and hydromotor (couldn't sell separately. ) 10 hours later, she's back together and got outside for the first time since I broke the bellhousing in September. I think The Pook is happier than I am!

....... guess we're going to find out. as for the drained oil, not knowing anything was wrong, all I can tell you is I noticed nothing off in its appearance, having drained it a gallon or so at a time and dumping it in a bucket.

On a positive note, I tore it down two hours quicker than last time. Another positive, I found the issue. A negative, I'm gonna have to up my game on my only fans page. :/

Everything has to be a saga....... Got the "new" housing and Everything appeared the same. Swapped out the bearing on the 4wd shaft, added a coat of paint, installed the clutch shaft and fork. Bolted her up to the tranny. Roll the engine back....... totally different bolt pattern and starter...

I have. I've had the unit since new and worked it hard the whole time. There's a definite trigger here that I'll avoid recreating. :D
