    3 point forklift attachment

I have a triple mast carriage from an old forklift we scrapped at work, even has side shift. Making it a 3pt mount is on my list of things to do. I need it for the height as my actual forklift is only a 2 stage. And I want to use it to set the roof beams on my new shop, need to get off my butt...

    O'Reilly Auto for hydraulic hoses

Discount hydraulic hose will assemble hoses for a relatively small fee, the longer hoses will save you more as it's a flat fee and the price of the house itself is lower.

    BX 2230 3pt hitch

You could undo the arms and pin/tie them up, but the rockershaft still has to move in order for the deck to go down, unless you just limit the 3pt to keep the arms off the ground but allow the deck to set on the height adjuster.

    O'Reilly Auto for hydraulic hoses

I bought a crimper a few years ago, it's paid for itself already with all the custom hoses I've made for my equipment and various projects. Has also gotten me out of a jam more then once when a hose blew on a Saturday evening and needed to finish a job. Saves a lot of money and frustration...

    Howe's Diesel Defender

I prefer Hot Shot Secret everyday treatment, use to use Power Service but switched after seeing results from independent testing. I always heard good things about Howes, but the testing results didn't impress me.

    Box blade

Most likely uses notched shanks with a bar that has the wedges welded to it. Thats how my box blade is. Hard to see in this picture, but might give you an idea.

Thoughts on cost of big roll-up barn doors

Menards has the best pricing I've found on larger garage doors. I recently bought 2 14x14 and 1 12x12 all insulated, for my new shop. At least your in their territory, I have to drive 4hrs away to get to one.

    Backhoe Ripper

Got to test it out on an old poplar stump this evening, very happy with the rippers performance. Was even able to test the thumb with it. The disturbed area is way less than with a bucket, which is why I wanted the ripper. The stump was a bit old and starting to rot so I'm curious to see how...

    Backhoe Ripper

The ripper and thumb are mounted, can't wait to try them out! Of course, as soon as I went to use it, the right stabilizer cylinder started pouring fluid. Went to the local hyd shop today and matched up some seals, bought double as I'm sure the left cylinder won't be far behind.

    grader blade size?

I use a 7ft Land Pride RBT4084 behind my 70in wide L3240. For dirt work I like the 7ft, if I was mainly using it for snow or lose materials, then an 8ft might be better when angled. The 7ft covers my track as long as I'm not fully angled. Weight is also your friend, my blade is over 800lbs...

    Makita 6421 upgrade

I've had my Makita 6401 for a while and have been wanting to upgrade to the 79cc P&C for a while. I started looking for a second saw years ago but nothing was showing up localy for a decent price. Well, a few months ago clean 6421 came up for sale locally for a great price so I grabbed it...

    Gooseneck for 150/1500 truck

Lighter duty trailer with proper axle placement would be perfectly fine, actually safer than the equivalent tag trailer. While the options for lighter goosnecks aren't as many, they do exist.

    Gambled on a G5200 Today

That weird, maybe someone changed mine out, although it was burned pretty good before I got it so who knows whats been done to it.

Weed wacker - extending string life

Prior to having a Speed Feed head I probably would have preferred the head with replaceable pieces, Speed Feed is a game changer, especially if you are trimming against rough edges like concrete/stone/asphalt and wearing down the line quickly.
