How could Artificial Intelligence become dangerous?

It's also better at altering the digital results! 🙀

How could Artificial Intelligence become dangerous?

Me too. I started out just letting you know it's already possible. Militaries already have it.

How could Artificial Intelligence become dangerous?

Autonomous flight is already possible. There are a couple of drawbacks, though. 1) loss of power to AI and it crashes. It's not like a car that you could just stop and get out of. 2) human acceptance. Some people are OK with autonomous cars. Few are keen on the idea of no pilot. 3) as you...

    Comparing small tractors (long)

Personally? I'd rather have the choice of using the tractor I'm on at the time rather than driving back to the barn to switch equipment. Especially if someone else might need the other tractor(s). As much as one can pack capabilities into a package, that's a good thing. Also, the further I...

My neighbor used to be a welding "professor".

    Comparing small tractors (long)

TYM is right there in Georgia. The T25 lifts more than the Mahindra and seems to meet all of your qualifications. (Not 100% on tires) Price will likely be the lowest of those.

How could Artificial Intelligence become dangerous?

Sure. My advice was targeted at what the kid already wants to do. I think we need to value skilled trades equally with college education. We shouldn't be pushing the wrong pegs into the wrong holes either way. If a kid wants to teach, make him an effective teacher. If the kid wants to weld...

How could Artificial Intelligence become dangerous?

I completely understand how the program works. The drawback is that someone with just an English major will get more education on English than will an English Education major. Post graduate certification gives you the same embedded experience, but you have more subject matter knowledge to...

How could Artificial Intelligence become dangerous?

It probably could for the most part. Even if it wasn't AI, you could just hire monitors at a lower rate and have students watch recorded lectures. That's right. It turns out that the direct instruction that some teachers hate is actually what works best for most students. AI would be better...

    The Resting Place.

We had 2- 78s growing up. Both were Japanese from when dad was there fighting the Communists in Korea. (He was a courier and back and forth between the 2 countries a good deal.) We also had some good stereo equipment for the time. A real-to-real player. (I remember we had some Glen Campbell on...

How could Artificial Intelligence become dangerous?

As a retired teacher I would advise him to major in what he wants to teach and then get the certificate later. The education courses are the most useless. Teachers are better with more actual subject matter knowledge.

Gin and Tonic fans? What's up with tonic water these days?

I don't know about that. Primient makes it and they don't have any production facilities in Iowa. So does Indiana Sugars in Gary, IN. ADM is huge and has plants everywhere. Couldn't find anything specific as to which of their plants make hfcs. Cargill is based in Iowa and makes it. No info...

Gin and Tonic fans? What's up with tonic water these days?

I think you'll find it is more driven by the price supports given to American sugar interests. They make it so sugar is more expensive. HFCS is only about 3% of the corn usage in the US. Ethanol is a much bigger driver used by the Iowan lobbyists. It's 33-36% of domestic corn usage. (And...

Thinking about a new Branson 5835R but have some questions...

That model uses a DPF filter to meet emissions. No DEF. Like all tractors that use a TYM/Kukje engine, it does not go to limp mode if there's a regen issue.

    Electric KIA EV9 SUV review

It's the one I grew up with. Eventually, it will be my son's. All of the kids are musical, but he is fantastic.
