    Box blade

Places like agri supply have the different teeth and bars in stock. All the pictures in the world won't teach you what is hardened what is available what fits your needs and let you touch it. The slots have a tolerance, too small they jam, too big they jam, where the teeth will fall.

    Older International 354

Like I have said in the past, bought both my john deeres from the stealership in 1999. I have not been back or have needed to since. Buy once cry once you get what you pay for so long as it isn't new or BMW/ Audi. I haven't babied my small tractors but for diligent maintenance. They have plowed...

    Older International 354

I have yet to see a tractor with a suspension. I take the rough ride as normal and the seat spring contraption on my jd's as some sort a an inside joke. Its only there so the seat doesn't slam down when I flip the hinge back after I power wash the guts. Actually the oem seat, as ridiculously...

    Worst oil change ever

I googled genesis, not a huge car, not a huge engine. My Duramax takes ten but I expect that from a diesel especially with how much accumulates in diesel waste oil. Any suggestions as to why so much for a relatively small engine? My om617 Merc only takes five as does my VW tdi just four, my JDs...

I Went To Purchase A New Mini-Excavator And This Happened.....

These responses are funny. Some saying it isn't a big deal, others saying you should have accepted it and tried to bargain a price reduction. My two cents, new is new, a demo is used, used is accepting she isn't a virgin anymore. If it's my money I expect what I pay for to be just as I ordered...

    Basic theft prevention

My approach would be a tractor ignition can be jumped and unlike a car there is no steering lock. I would disable the tractor in a nondestructive way. I would take a wheel and the starter home. The steering wheel turned hard left and pulled. More difficult to steal or tow. As I have said parts...

Have I been using my weed trimmer wrong?

According to my Stihl manual and dealer, speed to match load. Revving without load stresses the components and shortens tool life. A chainsaw as an example, you balance rpm with stock removal, load. Let the tool do the work, but don't overload it or race the engine needlessly as both cause undo...

    Tractors and (upcoming) tariffs?

You need to buy new equipment every year? You are kind of tough on your tools maybe you should learn how to use them correctly. A tractor should last a decade with proper maintenance many lasting a lifetime. Retrain your staff to change the oil at least once every generation or before the turn...

Powering outbuildings further than 600 feet from your homes main panel.

Well I finished the panel today and had it inspected. Because of the devastation not far from me power in western North Carolina crews are still busy and will likely head south to Florida in a few days. So generator for now but taken everyone's advice consensus being a separate meter.

Beautiful, it's sad that Sears died and still amazed by all the things they sold. Minibikes, sewing machines, prefabricated homes, even farm field equipment.

Powering outbuildings further than 600 feet from your homes main panel.

Yes but found it was very shallow, clipped a wire ten feet from the old trailer location that was twelve inches deep. Someone cut some corners that day, I asked the utility to remove the breakers at the transformer so I could trace the lines. Must have needed extra work here in just before...
