Has anyone built a tree branch shredder . Would a hammer mill have the potential to work if a way of getting the cuttings away was figured out .I had also thought about a straw chopper from a combine but I can't see that being rugged enough.

I know there are people whom sell them but my conscience won't allow me to spend near $500.00 for set . My tractor is IHC1256 with ICB cab. Any ideas.
