Got tired of the jumpy three point and the fast leak down on my CT450 with cab so finally decided to tear into it to see what was up.
Found the seal hard as a rock just like every other leak on this tractor.
Took cylinder out of housing and the piston just fell out of the cylinder tube it was...
Re: New Roadboss grader!
Ha Ha not sure why the thumb nail pics are upside down but they appear correct when opening them to view the larger size. My dogs even had to check out the new toy.
Just brought home my new 7' utility model Road boss grader. Now to wait until it thaws out here to give it a try. One of the USA based manufacturers for them is only 30 miles from my house. Ordered it directly through them and picked it up directly yesterday for a heck of a deal. I ordered it...
Bought a new 1200 page paper copy of the Bobcat CT 440 CT 445 and CT 450 service manual off e-bay. Willing to share info with anyone needing help. Let me know.
First thing for me is to look into my jittery 3pt issue.
You guys are welcome!
I like to share info that is actually meaningful and factual when I can to eliminate the BS and opinion type stuff that clutters up threads.
Sorry i hijacked this thread but since it was titled for a specific model I wanted to keep it simple as i think it helps cut down on...
Figured I would share this info here in the Kioti forum as well. I did this research to find a more reasonably priced filter source for the Bobcat CT440-445-450 hydrostat filters but crossing Bobcat #'s is always a dead end road so I used Kioti #'s to do the crossing.
Here is the link to my...

Have noticed that the three point arms settle quite fast when shut off, they will be settled all the way down after just a few hours after being shut down and when running and it is in a set position anywhere other than all the way down they sit and jump a little bit. Watching it seems it...
Looking at getting a Lorenz snowblower for my CT450 Bobcat tractor "49hp hydrostat".
Specs on Lorenz site show the 738 to be the one for my tractor but I am looking for used ones and there are no 738 units to be had but I have my eye on a couple used 730 units which are speced for up to 40 hp...
A shot of the bottom bearing cover and snap ring that hold it in, basically a rubber coated push in cap that easily prys out as there are two slots to get a narrow tipped screw driver in to pry it out.
A shot of the rear of the housing and drain plug location.
I have reclocked the bearing...
So I have been told by the previous owner and was reinforced by the dealer that these tractors are notorious for snap rings that break and cause front axle gear failures on the wheel final drive assembly. Does anyone know which snap ring breaks on these? I was told by the previous owner that he...
Picked up a full set of filters for my CT450 last week and about had heart failure over the price of the hydrostatic filter, it was $150 part # 7002299. Does anyone know of a more reasonably priced source for these? I realize they don't need to be changed too often but Yikes. Anyone running an...
I have been a Kubota man for most of my life but not having a cab on them and last winters numerous record setting blizzards here in ND I opted for a cab and found a nice clean one owner 2009 Bobcat Ct450 tractor with tl9 loader with 1460 hours cab ac and heat radio 2 rear remotes grill guard...
