    3/8 or .325 chainsaw chain?

455 460 here all come with 3/8. So unless your wanting to change the rim sprocket or the spur drum. Just stick with 3/8 on that saw.

    Need replacement for Stihl ms241

241 261 basically same saws. Can swap all B+C rim drum etc from 241 to 261. Your 250 plastic saw is totally different mount.

    Need replacement for Stihl ms241

If you liked your 241 bar and chain set up switch it over to your 261. If you have a older Gen 1 261 it will be heavier saw. But if Gen 2 or 3 it will be light like the 241. Gen 2 261 in pic when they went lighter. Can tell by clutch covers and slant fins by quick look.

She lives and cutting. Not bad psi for a 4000 thin ring saw.

Anyone have or has used a Stihl 150C saw?

I had the top handle version before rear was offered. Came with longer bar but I liked this for trimming. They need a quick easy muffler mod and the epa pin drilled out of H side for carb adjustments.

Old school 65cc picked up to see if I could save it. So much was wrong with just the lines and fuel filter someone tried to use. The carved stihl fuel filter smooth to try and fit the line. Duh slides off. Fuel line in tank vent hole. But least was run to carb. Tank vent line wrong hole...

    Stihl 194

Was it this bad? Usually when a tank filter has fallen off or line with hole in it though or filter not tight to fuel line. Pretty common to see.

Need advice on a larger chainsaw for an older guy.

If I was to buy a new saw today in 50cc. I would be buying the echo 501 or 4910. Both come with carbs you can still tune yourself. Very light saw too. Dealer on my chainsaw repair group has 4910 for $300 right now PHO = no b+c and 501 in the low $4's same way. Cheaper version 4910 in pic...

    Stihl 194

IPL shows 2 mufflers. 1 has a spark screen behind the deflector held by 1 fastener and hinge. If that checks out I still think open L some. See it so many times when the diaphragm starts getting old and stiffing up. Little stihls I even see it on new ones as tune is so lean.

30 min fix if you know how to retune your carb afterwords. Let them breath better, but more sound too. 590 muffler is restricted so bad. Never had a 620 on bench to see muffler. How I open for a quick fix. 490 same way. Open that muffler and retune. Remove deflector and remove tube and...

You finding fines in your carb throat from getting by air filter on this series echo? Just curious. Most folks find them on 490 4910 501. I did too. Easy fix in pic. Stops it.
