I watched that happen a few years ago in a Costco parking lot. A couple from 1000 miles away was helping their son move into his first apartment out of MBA school. His first TV: 80" LCD. Their car: Toyota Avalon.
Car surfing. A former coworker used to do that often. Is this SAFER than doing it on a plane wing ?
FYI, this is on the interstate!

I know a guy he was driving on the highway at 60/65mph with his friend at night, his spots light where not to his liking so he looked at his friend and said ''hold the steering wheel'', put the cruise on, lower his window to crawl out the truck to go adjust his lights... his friend was looking back at what the hell he was doing, the truck gradually moved to the shoulders, when it did he panic and give a aggressive correction, his buddy on the roof flew out. He was blue from head to toes but he didn't break anything.Car surfing. A former coworker used to do that often.
Usually there was alcohol involved.
Also watched a smoker set himself on fire while pumping gas once. Endlessly entertaining, since at the very moment it happened, he was commenting to his passenger on the stupidity of our "NO SMOKING" signs.![]()
Thats the definition of "Irony" isn't it????![]()
... and tremendous brakes!Good safety chains.
I meant to post these carving photos in the "groan" thread, so moved them there as soon as I noticed, probably as you were typing.Odd, that the second one looks like a more real and feasible carving, but with the obvious glitch at the hands, whereas the first seems to be disqualified by the lack of any visible growth rings in the wood.
