I do also this on my walk behind blowers, and sometimes the plow blades. A great product that is very easy to use is "Protect All". Use on paint, glass, plastic, rubber... What you don't wipe off dries clear.

I use my heated garage to remove the snow.
In all seriousness, Is the melted lake of water in your garage creating an issue? Does it migrate over to things you don’t want sitting in water?
When I built my shop I didn’t want floor drains for a few reasons. I opted to put a 2% slope on the floor. Any water easily migrates towards my garage doors. If it’s more water than what will naturally evaporate off the floor, sometimes I’ll use a floor squeegee to slick it out the door.
Since adding a floor drain or re-sloping your floor is likely out of the question, my mind goes to some sort of containment boom like the link below, or one of car containment mats like car detailers use catch water on the floor (second link below)….to keep the water under your tractor and not getting into your other stuff.

Just wondering if anyone has an inexpensive easy way to remove accumulated snow after using the tractor blower etc. my uit is in a heated garage and when it snows enough every day to use the unit(s) it melts amd makes a small lake LOL.
I've tried a windshield scraper which is somewhat OK but is time consuming and leaves a lot behind.
Also tried compressed air which works somewhat well but again is a bit time consuming.
They flat air nozzles but I'm not sure if they would work that well LINKY Another version of a nozzle LINKY 2 .
So i thought I'd ask here TIA and

Yesterday when I was done blowing, I set the temperature in the shop to 55 degrees and put the overhead fan on.
I have a little more to blow today and do the same thing. I have a 3 inch drain that works good.
Tomorrow I'll shut the heat off, because it's going to warm up. The heat is off unless I'm melting snow off tractor or doing some work in the shop.
A few years ago we didn't get much show and like a dummy I didn't make sure my drain was covered with snow and it froze.
Shop was at 60 degrees, I took the air coupler off of the hose and put it down the drain up to the ice.
I put the air going, don't remember how much, but the water was kicking up in the air over a foot.
1 1/2 hours later the ice melted and back to normal. Right now I probably have 4 feet of snow on that drain to keep from freezing.

I clean a little around the auger, fan, and chute so it will function smoothly if it freezes. My garage floor drains towards the door.
I started to leave my blower outside when used because one day the door seal froze to the concrete and I could not get the door to open.

I have heard that Pam helps the snow fall off the blade, so a consideration might be applying that to the worst surfaces for snow buildup. This may make cleaning surfaces easy with a broom.
