What's the go-to make and model of footwear that would meet my personal hang-ups, which are:
- I put my boots on in the morning and I take them off at night. I can't stand having to take shoes off in the middle of the day, nor can I stand not wearing footwear
- Steel toes are preferable
- I work a white collar job (100% from home), but I can find myself outside excavating a new driveway, cutting up felled trees, and other such things on a whim in the middle of the day
- I have a very visible role in church, which is a pretty casual place, but I wouldn't want to stomp around in super heavy-duty boots
- Black is the ideal, neutral color
