It was a pleasant arrival from Yanmar yesterday; I do not remember getting anything from previous manufacturers.

Kromc5 - nice presents and thank letter too!

What ever happened to the $10,000 the dealer / Yanmar wanted for insurance?

Thankfully, it was easy to remove after talking with the dealer; I sent them my insurance information, and they immediately removed it.

I spoke with and visited all three of my local dealers and got quotes for the identical tractor; they were about $160 a month in savings.

A few updates made a mount for the wireless camera display. I got the summit side link in. Installation required just a little work with the die grinder. I took some measurements and will test to see if the backhoe can be installed without 3-point removal.

I had taken measurements earlier and thought I would not need to remove the 3 points. I had some spare wire from the gate supports and used a couple of hooks to crisscross the lower arms so they would bang around. The 3-point is fully raised, and the lower links are tucked into the lower frame out of the way. I need to clean up the excess wire and am delighted not to have to remove them. Super quick, you just put the lower loop on and drop the hook into the top frame.

Been putting in about 6+ hours a day and still enjoying the tractor. Put the mower on and hit the steepest hill—all tractors in 2nd gear before the Yanmar would stall if you kept it floored. The Yanmar will bog down some, but I can keep it floored. At the top, I'm above the trees, and at the bottom, below them, so steep you can only go down safely on the left side to avoid sliding. All other tractors, including the 4075R, with a +17 hp, could not do it. Today we hit 90°F, the AC works well, and I was comfortable. But I have yet to sit in a tractor that beats the AC in my 4230. Cab noise level is on par with the 4075r; it's louder on startup, but once it's warmed up, it's very quiet at 540pto rpms. No need for ear protection that was required on the Rk55.

Good to hear! I'm glad you're still loving the Yanmar, and I'm impressed with how quiet it sounds- or doesn't sound.
