Kubota Insurance

This thread brought back memories.....when i bought my 3301 almost 8 years ago, I was on the fence whether to buy new with the 0% down, or buy a 200 hour machine for around $7,000 less..

Chose the 0% when magically the contract was $3,000 more than what we agreed to.....the $10k+ total difference was too much and we ended up buying the gently used machine.

Insurance is always a ripoff.....until you need it. ..LOL!!

I cannot comment except to say we are a working farm and a registered corporation with a Fed ID number and everthing we have farm related is insured for actual replacement value. One thing I'd never have is a 'homeowners' policy and certainly not Kubota insurance. As a rule, I don't like insurance but in today's world, a necessary evil.

Good luck in whichever way you go but whatever that is, make sure you understand the fine print on the policy so there are no surprises down the road.

When I bought my RTV- X recently I had to get a Kubota form signed by my Texas Farm Bureau that the TFB insurance covered everything that KTAC covered.

Interesting as I've never had to do anything like that. Must be a state specific requirement.

No, I'm in the same state.

It makes more sense the other way around. If you go through Kubota finance, they will require you have sufficient insurance.

Why would TFB care if their coverage matches or exceeds Kubota?
