LX Series Replaces B2650 and B3350

LX3310
lift/brkout: 769/1634: +48%/+65% vs the BX

For the increase in price (with FEL), to me it's not as big of improvement as I'd like. The old B was more affordable and much more capable (sans regen).

If the numbers are real-world-relatable the B's breakout was likely overboard for the tractor without a lot of counterweight, but wow would I love it! (Carrying capacity is probably a bit much for the stance, but back then perhaps the average person was more responsible.)

Maybe it's me, I just can't get excited about the LX FEL price vs performance, but the B3350 sure looked great until the regen issues showed up.

The old "large" frame B series (ie: B2650/B3350) (vs the "small" frame B2601, etc) was "more affordable" (cost less) because it was produced 12+ years ago and stopped ~5+ years ago, LOL... It absolutely not NOT much more capable than the current LX series.

Not sure where you're getting your data, the FEL lift capacity on a LX3310 is:
  • Pivot pin max ht: 1067, Pivot pin @ 1.5m: 1324 (taken directly from Kubota's site)

https://www.kubotausa.com/products/tractors/compact/lx-series#compare

I've owned a BX25D and now own a LX3310.

Your 'Lift/breakout' numbers look more like the specs of their respective backhoes, not the FEL.

Click the model and it goes to the tractor data page I used.

I use the 500mm from the pin figures because when using a FEL I'm usually prying up rocks with the dirt, and they're typically near the bucket lip, so around 500mm ~ 20" from the pins.
