Good Morning from Central Texas.
About 5:30 AM, 75.6 degrees, 75.3 Dew Point. The usual sultry summer morning.
Defense Secretary Hegseth announced yesterday, a fast track military drone production program. If you have ever seen footage of drone attacks in Ukraine (u-tube), drones are quickly becoming more and more lethal.
The USAF already has the large scale / range MQ-9 "reaper" attack and RQ-4 "global hawk" reconnaissance drones in service. There are also the RQ-11 Raven, RQ-20 Puma, RQ-7 Shadow, smaller reconnaissance and surveillance drones.
It would appear newer technology and anti-drone technology will be the next "big" thing in warfare ?

agree, better than drought. We need more rain, they been mostly missing us.

Ron, how have you changed your walking style? I met a 74 YO lady backpacking last year and she said she had changed hers and it made a world of difference. I know that the trail runners I wear have different models for over pronation or under pronation, but that's about all I know.

Wngsprd, that’s what they are working on. Yesterday was first day of them trying to get me to change. Going to be an interesting couple of months.

Huge crowd of residents there. I know the man who lives "next door" ...a hay farmer...many farms nearby that have been farmed by the same family for many generations and small curvy roads with lots of school bus stops have the parents upset...500 truck trips a day, and a new railroad spur to cross the road to allow rail distribution. They had 3 sheriff deputies there, but the crowd was peaceful.

That should be conversation piece at dinner table and coffee shops.

66 very humid high of 89 today. No rain yesterday but ground still wet from day before deluge. Missed eye doctors appointment yesterday have to reschedule. Went to bed at midnight up at 5:30 do not know why.

Ct, 67 to start going to 84. Cloudy now with sun breaking out later. Work today, probably just this morning.

Wow, what a mess that was Drew. I thought I screwed something up on my laptop and brought it to my son and he said nope, everything is down except Ken’s work email

Been busy running lines for another dipole antenna. I have another dipole launcher and am able to get the lines up in the trees about 70 or 80 ft.

Morning all, 71 going to 88 and cloudy, sun later.
Got a few of the lawn areas mowed.
Today, moving tables etc. into the yard.

Tomorrow is sons graduation party, have over 50 people, including a lot of his friends showing up.
His band will also play, food truck was booked a while back.
Should be pandemonium.

Been a lot of work to get everything ready and arranged, all while working long hours on new projects at day job.
