get her a wire kennel for when you leave her alone. Saves wear and tear
Absolutely, here is the one we got 20+ years ago when we rescued Jack. He came with bad separation anxiety. This is a current pic(Makana), taken just minutes ago. 26 boxes and 3 cats have found refuge there. The current 3 + 1 still do, daily.

Coffee is cooling in cup. 70° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 92° with partly cloudy skies. Dentist appointment went good. Back field grass cutting got done. PT was good. Foot a little sore today. But is moving good. Grocery shopping this morning. Then stay in for the day. Where it will be cool.

good morning all
going to be a hot day here too, in the 90's
no plans for today, though yesterday did not go well.

wasted most of afternoon trying to find a bell washer so service station could install my rear shocks.
Allegedly mounting kit came with shock, but only the nut. Looked up shock on five onlines and all show just the nut
enclosed. Apparently the mount at one end is not a hole but a small square, so I need a washer to cover it.
One parts place said send it back, missing parts. So...with no other choice got a return authorization to send back, but not
their fault, their ad only showed the nut. I found a KYB kit online and ordered it to come in today, has several washers I think will work.
So hopefully I can mount what was already sent to me, but if not, have to send back.

Considering the enormous cost savings of not having the dealer do this, I'll put up with some of this nuisance. This is a bell fender washer maybe inch and half wide. I asked parts guy don't you have a big drawer of these? Nope. Only in kits. I could buy a plain one and have Popgadget drill the hole in it. I wonder if TSC has a drawer of them?
first I'll see if the oem washer works, though it wasn't designed for this shock. These are conventional KYB shocks going on a Toyota, should not be difficult, but the mechanic I'm dealing with leaves a lot to be desired. His boss, the owner, I've known since birth, so I know the owner is looking over this carefully, and is both embarrassed and frustrated this is going poorly. He admitted they really only liked installing oem parts bought from dealers, because of problems like this. But a good mechanic gets past this...not going to tell him that...I think he already knows that.

Mostly, be careful in triple digit heat
looks like a heat dome day for a lot of folks
hope everyone's a/c works fine

funny how it's 62 out here now, a nice cool morning before a very hot day and it's
70 all the way North for Bill
maybe he is more in the heat dome they are talking about

coffee going down nicely, need to order some more
better coffee in grocery store very expensive, and I have tried the cheaper stuff in the big
cans and it tastes like wood chips to me. Wingsprd would likely spit it out.
Ordering online brings cost down under ten bucks a pound.
my friend who owns the coffee business says tariffs will add another dollar or two to that soon.

David/Sodamo will never be cold. He always has the big dogs for a "three dog night"... ;)

Morning all!
63 going to 87.
Cooler mornings have me out in the yard weeding for a few hours each day. Managed to get the whole yard mowed Tuesday and yesterday. Had to shower after both days as the sweat was crazy! 25,000 miles on the truck so I backed it into the garage and gave it a service. Decided to put feet up after all that.
Today I need to work on an outside light for a bit and then we will be leaving early for a trip out to visit with the widow of my friend.
Should be home by late afternoon so won't be doing anything after that.
Have four projects going in the woodshop.
3 orders for the cigar carriers have been completed and shipped. Was given a nice 28 by 8 walnut log by a couple at the Tuesday morning breakfast place. Will make them a nice dish out of it. Should have enough left over for several projects.
Thinking about and praying for all of you with ailing spouses!
Hope everyone stays safe and healthy!

Good Morning,
Ct, 63 to start going to 88 or so. I mentioned yesterday that humidity was ramping up but that was false , it will be ramping up today. Looks like possibly thunderstorms tomorrow afternoon. I hope it’s dry for Saturday evening because we have another concert at the FD. This will be our 4th concert and we are finally in the black 😉

Kathleen wants to have a pizza party out by the deck and pool next Wednesday, for about a dozen friends, so I know I will be busy before all that happens 😉😃

Barely had enough concrete bags
Nice work Dennis 😉 How big is that pad ? I have a 2 bottom plow out in the lawn by the barn that I would like to make a pad for so it’s not sinking into the lawn with weeds growing up around it.

Hope all have a Super day 🙏
