Hydraulic AG couplers and heat

Be aware your Kioti may not have the iso 5675 pioneer connectors. It may have the iso 7241-A connectors which are similar but are not fully compatible with the AG style 5675 connectors.

Discovered this last year when going through the same issue with leaking connectors and looking for the replacement O rings. And got the numbers off of the female connector and with research discovered that are not the standard 5675 ag connectors. I didn't find replacement O rings for the 7241 that are on my DK45S.

From looking at both connectors the 7241 has longer poppet nipples than 5675. So a 5675 ag connector will not fully open the female valve on the 7241 connectors.

Thanks. It's a DK6010SE. And i do have some calipers so I will check. Was hoping to get them ordered without having to take the couplers off but if that is my only option I will do that. I also reached out to the dealer to see if they could tell me but they only replace the entire coupler

One doesn't need to remove coupler from tractor to R&R o-ring in orifice that male hyd tips fits into on breakaway coupler. Just R&R o-ring & backup washer if present while coupler remains on your tractor.

Back to my original question. Can hear cause the o-ring failure? I was putting in 8-1 hour days and my tractor wasn't overheating but I noticed the hydraulic cylinders were pretty hot. It wasn't until I was going my 400hr service that I noticed the radiator reservoir was empty. Maybe sense why the hydraulics were so hot. That is what leads to me to the question about hear and o-ring failure. I think there is a connection here.

Heat can but typically temperature would have to be 250 degrees F or higher before the O-rings would be affected.

Engine temperature should have very little influence on Hydraulic oil temperature unless the radiator antifreeze solution is used to cool hydraulic oil.
