2003 TC30 Won't Start

Correction to what I said above, the timer that he points to under the hood is for the Glow Plug Indicator Lamp and not the glow plugs, For the other TC tractors, I believe it controls both the indicator lamp and a relay that energizes the glow plugs. I suspect the TC30 is similar to the xx20 series where the glow plugs are engerized direct from the ignition key 'heat' position and timer only controls the glow plug indicator light

Seems like a shame to spend that much for a timer when you had the seat switch jumpered anyway. I would need to see detail of the seat switch circuit in the TC30 service manual to know more. I did find this youtube video by someone who may of had the same problem

his explanation is not very clear, but maybe you can pick something up from there.
fwiw, the timer he points out under the hood is the glow plug timer and the relay next to it that he points out, I believe may be the safety relay.

There is another video there by another person with the problem on another TC30, but it is a newer one that has the safety controller. Be happy you do not have that.

I was concerned I would blow something up given the difference in years between my tc30 (2003) and this one and the different wire color codes, but the pin out must have been the same and it worked!
