seems I was mowing this day a few years back
in some pretty serious stuff,
helping neighboring farmer
had to be very careful, lots of abandoned old broken
implements back along woods and in tall grass. First I walked the edge,
looking for IEDs.
49hp Massey turning a six foot rough cut mower, just went slowly
wumpety wumpety wump

Good morning all. 44 here this am and predicted to hit 55 today and its breezy now. We got 1.25 inches of rain yesterday and overnight. Our 40lb puppy eats more than our other 2 dogs do so I need to get her another 40lb bag of food for her. Gee whiz. If the rain ends, I got things to do outside today.

Good Morning,
Old spice deodorant as well riptides been doing that for years
Buppies, still using to this day 😉
Still hard to beat the fragrance of air dried.
David, totally agree, but Kathleen doesn’t want to be bothered with that, so dryer sheets it is 😂

Good Morning
66° high in the low 80’s, showers likely tonight.

Yesterday was a combination of things to keep me occupied. Nice breakfast with the professor, some cleanup and computer work, a bit of clock repair, standby generator service call, gave away two RC helicopters to someone that was excited to get them. Not a bad day overall.

Today is another generator to look at, some work in the shop, meet some friends for lunch, and whatever comes up between then and the RC club meeting this evening.

Morning all, 59 going to 84 and sunny.
More watering and simple maintenance around the yard after work.
It's funny Don, 81 would be a great temp for our pool, we don't like it above 83.

Lots of paperwork both at work and at home today :-(

Might get to go out and split some wood.

Calling for rain tonight, we'll see, it's been a while, normal for August, but it is very dry here.

Be well

I was this way when young, in fact my favorite pool was a family member just a mile from your place, who had a large rectangular pool under the shade of a tree... it stayed cold right into August.

But now I keep my pool heated to 85 - 87F. :D If I forget to put the solar cover on overnight this time of year, I can watch steam rising off the water in the mornings.

I have never to the best my knowledge swum in a heated pool. Growing up it was and still has been always rivers, ponds or lakes. The first pool I was ever in was at Parris Island MCRD.

roofer left, fixed my five broken shingles, said roof was so old
adhesive wasn't sticking right. He agreed the estimator should come out for a new roof.
at least that's done.
I gave roofer a couple tomatoes and twenty bucks, he left with a smile and I/landlord will get a bill for 280 bucks,
minimum charge. Around here, such a deal.

strange to see this time last year I was already in South Dakota. I bet tomorrow a pic of George Washington will show up, my telephoto
of Mt Rushmore

now off to local orchard to see what they have
absolutely gorgeous out
