My folks had a machine delivered to their house to exercise the knee.

I had a machine also, but it wasn't to exercise the knee, but keep stretching the muscles to increase the degrees you can bend your knee. I liked it, I would use it while watching TV. Just add a degree or two everyday.

They were commonly referred to as CPM's. I had one with my first knee replacement, as I understand it they are not recommending them anymore. I thought that it was helpfull after the knee replacement.

Wife and I feel good but after I became 70 every chair, sofa, bench even a tree stump I see calls out to my weary behind.

I hear you. I lost both parents and my dog this year... what can I say? Life will never feel the same. But there is still time to make new memories

Ouch! We know that qe likely will outlive our parents yet it still sucks when it happens. My mother is still alive, my father passed 8 years ago... but the Alzheimers took him from us before that.

Sorry to hear that Alzheimer's is a bad decease. I have seen it twice with in laws and once with a friend's parent. Worse than them being gone is when they are confused and angry with you. My dog lost his sight 5 yrs before he died. In a way he was gone before he went too. Life can suk at times.
