Kyle, your pond work reminds me of the efforts Eric of Shropshire made with his pond weeds. That was quite a job, and took real innovation, like yours.

Yesterday was a typical hike and Della swim day with odd jobs.

Buppies, I forgot to respond to your question of where I took the photo that I thought was Cahas...I was on the top of Sinking Creek Mountain, north of Sarver Hollow...I was looking southeast over a gap in the near ridge...it could have also been the top of Ft Lewis Mtn, but I zoomed in on what seemed to be much farther away.

Just noticed that our post count has been changed much lower I’m sure to placate the advertisers as we have skewed things on this site. Never thought a tractor forum would be subject to such. Society is heading somewhere I do not wish to go.

I have lots of thoughts on this but will keep those to myself. I have degrees in business history political science from one 4 year college and another 4 year degree in public administration from another college. I spent too much time in college

Good morning TBN folks. Near 40 here in Houghton MI this morning while its 26 at our away from the lake camp. High for today is in the 50's which is fine fall weather in our book. We headed to camp yesterday afternoon to deliver propane but Dearest got tied up at her job, and got off later than advertised so we didn't get back here until 7ish. Did clear the road there some. Today I'll pick up a cargo trailer for use at camp.

good morning, 65 going to 65 and raining, about 1/2 inch overnight

Picked up Cody from groomer all handsome again. Also picked up groceries

Mowed some more yesterday trying to get the year end mowing completed

Frustrated with the controls on the noise canceling muffs. Usually use only the bluetooth function but must have gotten it pushed wrong.
It ended up on FM radio instead. It has functions for ambient, two way radio, FM radio
and more with just a few buttons. Need to find the manual . There must be some manipulation of the buttons needed to change functions

The head phones I listen to while mowing are old beats buttons are small easy to screw up have to take them off to see which button to hit. Too complicated for old goats like me

Good morning, the low is 40 and going up to 52°F. Wind N 14 gusting to 22 mph. Cloudy. The weather guessers are guessing 28°F for an overnight temperature. That will get the rut going for sure.

Tractor went off to the hospital yesterday at 10. Neighbour from Montreal texted me and wants me to plow her driveway again this year.

Drew, there is nothing like trying to pull a sail with a cross wind. When I hauled freight I saw my 53' trailer on the other side of the road in a strong crosswind with snow on the road. That was in MI, u.p.
In that respect, tanker is better. The wind just follows the barrel.

Speaking of tankers, Scott can attest to this, you may have a 50 year safe driving record with zero tickets and accidents. Get into a half loaded tanker and be prepared to learn how to drive all over again. Good tanker drivers will separate the men from the boys. Poor tanker drivers end up in the ditch on their sides.

Baaa! I don't use headphones for anything but talking on the phone and listening to you tube. Definitely NOT while I am operating equipment or driving.
