Checking in this PM on a beautiful sunny day that started out at a sunny 40ºF this AM. A hazy sunny afternoon that has probably topped off at 69ºF. A successful day w/o the knee brace; my first. I picked 12 ticks off Brogen after this AM walk. Once they bite him they're gonna die, but they like to travel in their death throes. After the dump run I finally finished weeding and mulching the hummingbird garden.
We saw "A Dog's Purpose yesterday PM. We liked the movie; we liked the first. We went to the Texas Roadhouse for the "early bird". Wife likes those portion sizes. I should, but do not. They open early and the food and drinks are consistent.
Now I know why Brogen stood up on his hind legs yesterday at the slider. Our bird counting days may be over in the near future.
Randy- A Happy Birthday for your son. I wish him many more in health and happiness.
Drew- Nice looking veggies. A lot of you have producing gardens and I have not even tilled the garden. I am not alone around here, The nurseries really had a bad year for starts and 6 packs due to the extended cold weather. A lot of the nursery plants are really leggy. Our chives are doing well
Eric- Thanks for sharing the ragwort picture, It is a pretty weed.
RonJH- Nice bumblebee/flower picture. Thanks for sharing.
Don- Nice flowers for the community to enjoy.
"... Hope everyone enjoys their Memorial Day weekend, and remembers the fallen that gave all to preserve the way of life we all enjoy."- RNG. Every day should be a Memorial Day. I hope your next weekend's weather is drier than predicted.
Bill- For all the aggravation caused by ethanol laced gasoline the price may be worth it.
