RNG, I have a yanmar 10hp diesel genny that puts out 28 volts DC. Designed to be connected to a 24v battery backup system. It will start automatically when it detects that the batteries need charging.

Oh man, that looks like so much fun. To be in the groove, playing the back end with the throttle, eyes focused on the exit, not afraid of nuthin'... Don't git no better than that!

morning all, up early, potato harvester comes at 5:30am. Man has a "sporting clays" tournament that morning with his daughter, they shoot together,
and win lots of prizes, so he's in a hurry to get it done early. Ok by me.
I'll be getting ice shortly after 5am, get cooler packed, donuts and fruit basket put out for volunteers, and then maybe I'll be ready to take some pics of this guy
harvesting. Even remembered to put my phone on the charger.
So, first cup of coffee tastes good. A lovely cool 58 degrees going up to 85 today in picture perfect weather.
ate a piece of a friend's zucchini bread she made for me, and it was yummy in toaster oven and just a little butter.
Fine way to start the day.
Today will be anything but Thomas's slow roll... but should be fun.
and win lots of prizes, so he's in a hurry to get it done early. Ok by me.

Farmer, really good to hear from you, glad you are keeping your 80,000 girls happy.
Hope this weekend is easy on sore lungs, sore knees, etc, says the pot calling the kettle black, maybe
some feet up time.
I can only wonder how many people are permanently disabled or hurt in some way from motorcycle racing.
But then they must look at boxing and wonder how dumb is that?
We all have different ways of taking risk and chances, I'm going to pass on skidding around a dirt track.
If I were a Mom and that was my son out there, not sure I could watch.
What we do to entertain ourselves may not always be very smart. Perhaps some Darwinism in that.
We are still in the Coliseum to some degree.
This is where having a comfy chair and a big widescreen tv makes these sports so fascinating. Really good camera work
can make a dull race come alive.

Woke up freezing with the windows open. Now a bobwhite is nearby loudly proclaiming his name.
Don, that ceiling looks perfect. A little sealer and you're ready to hit the woodshop or pool or seat time. Hey, I bought that same flip-top step stool about a year ago and love it...I was using it this week working on my porch, and started thinking about which are my most useful "tools"...it was on the list.
Ron and Rick, great flag presentations.
BEF, hope that trailer wasn't moving...didn't look like anything to grab onto if the driver jerked forward too fast...but looked like fun.
Rich, that guy looks like he knows what he is doing on that bike.
Had a nice hike in the battlefield park yesterday with Coco. Got down to the river, but it was too high and fast to play fetch so we had to throw the stick on dry land. Had a nice chat with another hiker who volunteers for the National Park Service and a different battlefield in the county...Totopotomoy Creek.

Yesterday was good day...got all the trimming done under spruce tress and wheel barrow 1/ 1/4 cord of wood into base.
Plans for today... wheel barrow all the kindling into basement and rake area clean of bark saw dust,store for critter food than just putter rest of the day.
Little after 8pm notice something peeking around granite bird bath base 3 fox pups,told Mrs. and she whip up meal for them,have feeling there going to be more than 3 showing up for supper this evening.
Enjoy the day all.

Coffee has finished brewing. 62° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 68° with afternoon showers. Sams Club run this morning then need to pull more weeds.
