The coolant reservoir is never under pressure. Your best bet (short of buying a new jug and cap and tubing) is to hunt around until you find a plastic cap with threads that will mate onto the top of the jug. Some gallon oil jugs might fit, some antifreeze jugs might, etc. Once you find a cap...
