    Broadcast spreaders

For what it's worth, I do a dry run using sand and get a basic calibration. Then I mix my grass seed with the sand. I don't think I could just spread the grass seed alone. Just to qualify, mine is a sling spreader but not as nice as yours.

B2601: Removing Front End Loader without the Bucket attached?

I remove mine all the time with forks attached instead of the bucket. But removing with nothing would be a nightmare. For mine, it's not so much the ballast as it is having something on the front to get leverage to get the attaching brackets in the correct position.

Premix vs gas station 2 stroke

Buying pre mixed gas reminds me of Coleman "white gas" and RC plane gas. Make sure you got your little funnel so you don't spill any on your little clean weed eater. I probably use five gallons a year easily. Heck, until I read this thread I didn't even know you could buy it pre mixed, at the...

    Dual Rear Tires

I've thought about duals as well for the same reason. I would think if the duals were going to be used for additional traction or pulling power they might not be a good idea. But for smoother ride I see no issue with them.

John deere 5500 wont go in park

Not sure since I got rid of my 5310 I don't have a tech manual any longer. It may require splitting if there's not an access cover. After thinking about it I'm not sure the sync shuttle has external linkages. It may all be internal.

Past's Easy Change vs. Kubota Quick Hitch on Kubota M4 with Cat 2

Yea, I think those are called telescoping stabilizers that are on your 3 PH arms. They are just like what I have except mine are infinitely adjustable. Some Kubotas are adjustable and some aren't. Point being you have to adjust your sta bars. With a QH you never touch them unless you remove it.

    5xxxE tractors

Light or not, a 5090 can be bogged down to the frame. IMHO there is no comparison between the 5075 frame and the 5090/5100 frame, which is why I went with the 5090. 5090 and the 5100 are the exact same tractor with fuel delivery differences. You are doing the right thing by looking at the 6...

Past's Easy Change vs. Kubota Quick Hitch on Kubota M4 with Cat 2

So Pat's hooks the toplink up and adjusts the stabilizers too? This is a silly issue. You have to hook up the toplink and adjust the sta bars or links. Fighting with stabilizer bars alone is reason enough to have a QH. I back up to an implement, lift and go. Did it all day yesterday. Keep your...
