I'd think fine, that is what 540E is made for. Probably more productive than a gas powered unit. My tractors max torque is actually achieved at 1800RPM which is my 540E pto speed

I'd replace the idler first. I've never SEEN my clutches engage. Clutches are pretty friggin reliable. Start with the cheap fix first.

My TYM isnt the first hydro tractor I've run, but it is probably the quietest. I can't hear it over the tractor. From this thread I've learned not to cheap out on the hyd fluid during the first change this year.

On rough ground, much easier on your body, easier to get on and off if you need to during a mow, also much more compact and maneuverable for a trailer or tight quarters lawns. I much prefer them.

We don't use resistance heat. The shop has no heat. It only has lighting, and the most power hungry item is a large dust collection system. It's 40x60. The home (1800 sq ft) has a heat pump. The resistance heat only fires when we drop below 5F

About .15/kwh... That does not include all the additional fees and surcharges. That is just the rare per kwh. Our all electric home and shop in central IN costs about $150-$180 per mo every month.
