It actually uses a solenoid controlled butterfly in the exhaust to raise the temp of the DPF to burn off the soot. It has no injectors in the system. Oddly, most of these engines run 200+ hours before the FIRST regen ever occurs. So the question is then, why does another brand run 20-50 hours...

Well, mechanically injected engines that TYM uses arent hobbled by the DPF… because the ECM only monitors the DPF, it does not perform any engine control functions. There is no limp mode or derate. They are the only manufacturer to my knowledge still using a mechanical Bosch injection system...

To be fair you bought the subcompact. The 2515 is the TYM compact, which weighs nearly doubled and lifts more than double at the 3-pt as the T25. I've heard great things about the T25, but it's a subcompact with limited weight and capacities, and 18hp at the PTO to boot

With a hydro, the choice is a little less important. You can slow to a crawl if need be. Sorta limited of you have gears.

Like I said. This seems to be a real problem for the 2502. Many owners have reported it, but only on some of the units sold. Others don't do this. Some have had a warranty repair done and it cleared up. I think Kubota has an issue with the new motor, after some examination.

I wouldn't force the 4wd lever. It should NOT need to be forced. You will break something. Best bet is to turn the steering wheel left and right as you apply firm pressure. It will unbind the drive line. Many people have damaged their tractor doing what you described

I have clay loam, so I really appreciate the one pass to create a good seed bed. The tiller makes a very fine and uniform bed to plant seed in. I travel slower, but fewer passes, maybe 1.5 gallons per acre.

The only negatives I considered with the LS were regen cycles (maybe 12-40 hours compared to 200+ with the Branson) and the lower lift height. The only issue I saw in two years of researching was the potential for the LS to go into limp mode for Regen, or for numerous sensors linked to the ECU...

I seriously considered LS when I bought my 4820... And it really only came down to the desire to not have an ECM controlled engine that can go into limp. I prefer the LS blue 💙

There should be a knob under the seat between your legs. It adjusts the flow to the 3pt on most tractors to slow the movement of the 3pt

Well, yeah, burning any fuel will produce water… Sadly. Heating a space with electric takes a massive amount of energy though. At 3.41 btu per watt…. You need 8000 watts to do any good in most spaces if they are not insulated well, or leaky.

I bought a cheap 80,000 btu propane radiant heater last year. Coupled with a 40lb tank, I can get about 23 hours of heat out if it on its lowest setting of about 25k BTU

1475 watts won’t heat anything not right under it. It certainly wont heat a space. You’d need at least 220v to do that, and even then electric would be weak
