Well, it has less than 20 hours and back to the dealer for a whole new clutch assembly. Something about the clutch plate welding itself to flywheel, salt water and few other reasons. Tractor getting split in half and a whole new clutch assembly to be installed. I always thought Duetz was a reputable brand ? Is it made in a third world country now?

Clutches can seize if exposed to damp weather, stored outoors... Most units have a lock so you can lock the pedal down, if it's a manual clutch.

My guess would be stored at shipping dock or on boat coming across the pond. Company I used to work for had a lot of problems with rust on components shipped from Europe to USA even enclosed in card board boxes and sea freight container.
