Just found out people are paying $30K for L2502

The Kukje, now TYM diesel, was probably the #1 selling point when I bought my 4820. #2 was the number of features that other manufacturers only put on flagship models, being available as standard, for the cost of their basic model. And #3, the fact that the TYM dealer network doubled in size...

    Kubota LX4020 Already Having Problems

I love the linked pedal. If I don’t want to use it, I just set the throttle, which I do when I’m tilling. When I’m not using PTO, I set the throttle at what I want as my min rpm… if I press the pedal far enough, it will increase rpm. When I let off, it settles back in at my min, say 1800rpm...

    Lawn Tractor vs Zero Turn

I’d vote ZTR. My Hustler weighs in at about 1400 pounds and handles steep side hills fine. The homeowner models, the light weight models, won’t. I’d never want to mow my 2 acre lawn with a lawn tractor. I have 6 acres of fields I routinely mow with an atv and 57” trail mower.

I’ve got the 4820 and love it. I do a lot of PTO work

Just bought 6 acre of land. Now what???

Our place is pitch black, miles from street lights or cities… We ended up placing a number of solar spot lights in the landscaping, as well as motion lights on the garages to provide some light. It adds just enough so that you can see some surroundings. Before that you could not see your hand...

What I’m saying is, my 2015 Polaris is worth used, what it cost new. Which is half of what it costs today. My Hustler 72” XOne, is worth used, what I paid new 5 years ago. The new, is about $5k more new, than mine was. So, although I’d love a new ATV… What I have is fully operational, and I...

Closer to family. Close to a church we love. More acreage to support a small farm in my retirement. My now 8 acres won’t support all of that. I think my current 48hp tractor will be sized well for it too.

    Found 33 acres... wow

Found another 52 acre property for the same price. The land is a bit more accessible. Has fewer challenges to overcome. It has the same amount of cleared and cut acreage as the 33 acre plot (26 acres cleared). More options for building sites. It’s on a long private drive that is 2500 feet...

The real key is getting the utility to move the power lines across the building site, to another location. They could say no. They could say sure, but charge an exorbitant amount, or say yes and charge a reasonable amount. Really it all hinges on those stupid lines. Anyone have experience...

    Will UAW Strike?

EV production will decimate the ranks of the UAW, and the administration is pushing it hard. This is a very interesting position for both sides to find themselves in. I seriously don’t see EV sales popping due to issues with ICE production. The economy is slowing, the big 3 have plenty of...

A dealer will know that you only list the hours on the machine, if you know the meter works. Cmon. Also, if it doesn’t, a dealer knows to state hours are not actual. That’s not rocket science. Selling a vehicle, claiming it has 50,000 miles, with a disconnected odometer isn’t any different...

The second crop began blooming at three weeks, and now after three weeks of blooming it is setting seed and losing its blossoms. The late season buckwheat grew fast, not as tall, and had a much shorter bloom. It was free, so I guess it’s fine. Really thinking of planting phacelia next April.

They will automate at least one seat in the next 20 years. Maybe both moving forward… the public will also have to be comfortable knowing the AI at the helm, has no skin in the game. Also, based on our current NAV and avionics glitches in each new software load… a pilot will need to be there...

Amen. It's dicey when you make such wild demands in an industry where they can just move your job elsewhere. Or automate it. Pretty bold. Some industries have seen massive pay raises... we saw 80% raises last year. Can't be outsourced. Can't be automated. And there aren't enough of us...

    Hour meter count.

My 4820, does not add time for each start. Also, it sits for a couple months at a time and it’s just fine. Engine wear is a real thing at start up due to lack of lubrication, you are doing more harm than good.

    CNH NEW MODELS

Wonder what the cost of 75HP electric is compared to diesel? One selling point for the 25HP electrics, was they weren’t row crop tractors, and you wouldnt be using them for hours each day. Well, the larger the tractor gets, the more likely you will be using it for extended periods…
